I've made it clear in the past how I feel about Birdmonster, so it was cool to see this article in the SF Weekly detailing the band's recent kick-ass show in a flooded Café Du Nord. Here's an excerpt that discusses the band's possible future plans:

It's why, with only that three-song EP, Birdmonster has met with A&R reps from various major labels (which the group's members would prefer not to disclose); why influential music blogs around the country have gushed over these three songs; why the quartet is recording its much-anticipated debut with producer Brad Cook, of Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age fame"
I've also got some exciting news concerning Birdmonster (and two other amazing bands) that I'll hopefully be able to let you guys know about in the next couple weeks...although since you are all very clever, if you browse around their website you can probably figure it out yourself.
