TV On The Radio: Live in Dallas

Last night's TV On The Radio and Celebration show was a collaborative affair, with members of TVOTR joining Celebration on stage, and Katrina Ford of Celebration returning the favor during their set. This was one of the more exciting, powerful shows I've seen in a long time, and I'm still not quite sure how TVOTR puts that much heart and soul onto the stage every single night. The new songs were amazing, and "Wolf Like Me" is officially my frontrunner for song of the year.

a new frontrunner for song of the year...seriously, it's april - and the record hasn't even come out yet! you should save your "of the year[s]" for at least, like, may.

They're playing All Tomorrows Parties just down the road from me and I'm freakin' determined to get in.

Despite it only being April, what I've heard of the new material really does seem like "of the year" tstuff.

i saw tv on the radio open for the get hustle in portland in 2003 after i had just gotten really really into their ep at the time, and they suuuucked live!

i'm relieved to know they've (hopefully) gotten better since then, as i'm gonna be seeing them again soon and was honestly more excited about bauhaus and nin than tvotr ;)

TV on the Radio makes me happier than either TV or the radio can do alone.

I'm scared for them too; they're just too damn brilliant for their own good. I saw them in Austin the next night and were too energetic for words. They're so going to self-implode...

Yo, I was at the show in NYC at Bowery Ballroom, and everyone there definitely felt the amazing energy those guys brought to the stage. They were just great!
Even Scarlet Johanssen, who I noticed in the crowd on my way out of the venue, seemed to think so!
