really didn't expect to like this, but i do, and a lot more than any of the remixes on "open season."
Good god that was terrible! Why does every single have to include shitty remixes these days? Imagining some Meatpacking District douche dancing around to this nearly ruins the original for me. What happen to real b-sides?
word...remix b-sides are bullshit and lazy.
this remix is superb, and perfect for a single release in the UK marketplace. this will be flying off the shelfs (and downloaded in abundance). i smell a summer dance hit. golf claps for van she.
superb, eh? dropping a vocal track into some late 90s techno bullshit without rhyme or reason is not what i would call exemplary. you smell a summer dance hit. i smell a turd.

Yeah, I don't really get all of the hate. I think the mix does exactly what it's supposed to:
It stretches it out a bit.
Ups the BPM.
Enhances the melody with some synthesizer texture.
Samples back the best parts of the track.
Tries some new sounds.
I also like what they do with the vocals. Granted, it's a bit workmanlike (and fairly similar to the I Am Finn remix they dropped a little while ago), but I think it's still a fun track.
I like electronic music and that just bit! Sorry guys, thumbs way down.
