Grizzly Bear: "knife" live at hot freaks!
Here's footage of Grizzly Bear performing "Knife" at our unrelated-to-ACL Hot Freaks! after-party at Club Deville. As you'll see in the video, the rocky backdrop of Deville's gorgeous outdoor stage couldn't have been any more perfect for the band's ethereal set, which was attended by members of both the Arcade Fire and the Killers. Thanks to our friends from Austin's Super!Alright! for the vivid images, and to Grizzly Bear for the jaw-dropping hymns.

they played "marla" live for only the second time ever a week ago today here in buffalo. why? because we were sitting down, as ed reasoned. this video reminded me of it. both were/are really special.
I thought this song was kinda the low point of the whole show. Any videos from the rest of the otherwise flawless set?

Holy crap those are some pretty intense closeups you guys got there. Club Deville has always been one of my favorite venues, and Grizzly Bear's performance was absolutely stellar. Do you know if La Blogotheque will put up their recordings? I stood behind Chryde for the majority of the show so I'm curious to see how it turned out.
