happy new year

Hope you guys had a good holiday, here are a couple things I've been enjoying lately. Regularly scheduled posting will resume tomorrow:

I received a myspace friend request from El Guincho, who's also a member of Barcelona's tribal/psych pop outfit Coconot. On his sample-heavy Alegranza solo LP, El Guincho draws from the worlds of tropicalia, afrobeat, dub, and elsewhere to create an ethereal summer pop gem in the vein of Person Pitch. And we know how I feel about that.

El Guincho fata morgana
El Guincho final de archipielago

(in fairness, these are two of his most Animal Collective-iest songs. check out the more african and brasilian-influenced jams at his myspace page)

Mumdance turned Diplo's remix of the Black Lips' "Veni Vidi Vici" into this weird grime-psych jam, with a little help from East London MC Jammer:

(via Mad Decent)

black lips x diplo x mumdance veni vidi vici (feat. jammer)

We spent New Year's Eve at the Mohawk in Austin with White Denim, Pink Nasty, and Brazos. They formed a six-piece mega-WD that was pretty fucking amazing. Here are a couple shots:

El Guincho has an amazing live set, I saw him a few weeks ago in Barcelona, totally worth it.

Another great Spanish band is 12Twelve, check out their latest album "L'univers" recorded by Steve Albini.

Delivering a new dimension for hardcore Maple Story players with the addition of a fourth job and some free maple mesos, this is launched today. Maple Story players will have reached a high enough level to achieve the 4th Job or some necessary maplestory mesos, which begins this week. Many people can cost their own cheap mesos to gain themed dessert and costumes among their many posts. The addition of the 4th Job provides further depth to an already intricate and complex maple story mesos in game. At Leafre, players find the new upgrades can receive from mesos and also party with other elite players.

Do you think that theguaid wars gold in the game is important, many players want to in the game has moregw gold, so in the game they effort to do the tasks, sometimes they spend a little money tobuy guild war gold, so I think if now I had enough cheap guild wars gold them sold to them, I can earn a lot money.
