new White Denim :: "i start to run"

"I Start to Run" is the soulfully frenetic lead single/anthem from White Denim's adventurous and consistently brilliant upcoming LP, Fits. The 7" single, backed with non-album track "Yo-Yo," is due July 6, but you can listen now at Full Time Hobby's website.

Catch the band with Harlem, PVC Street Gang, and Fight Bite this Saturday night in Dallas at Pastime Tavern. And in case you missed this one the first time around, here's another track from the album:

any word if they are going to do a US release of this record?
Also did anyone join their subscription club they did last year?
Fell through and none of the Exposion records were pressed. They sent an apology email saying they will give us something to compensate but haven't heard from them since.
wow love this
Any idea who has done the artwork?
You have been running White Demin for so long now.

Never thought I'd say this, but I'm fucking stoked about this record. The two tracks you've posted have impressed the hell out of me. Thanks for the head's up.
MISSISSIPPI GODDAM!!!!!!!!!!
man, the new shit is just plain old fashioned rollicking rock and roll. it sounds bizarrely crisp though. they're doing a good job of embodying that live sound. love it, keep posting.
Hey Chris, any insider knowledge on what songs will end up on Rough Trade's pre-order bonus mix? They claim to include "a fantastic bonus mix cd put together by white denim themselves."
Michael Hammett did the album art for the single and the LP. He also did the art for Exposion and Workout Holiday.
