new polyphonic spree :: "blurry" (demo)

The Polyphonic Spree just posted the first demo for their upcoming record, which will be released on their own Good Records imprint. This is obviously the Spree at their most sparse (i.e., Tim DeLaughter and an acoustic guitar), but in its current stripped-down state, "Blurry" is a pretty, '60s-esque folk ballad that may surprise non-fans of the group:

honestly, I've never been a fan of these dudes but I think this is pretty great. I hear, like, Donovan + Nirvana + some folkster I can't quite put my finger on. You sure this isn't some Tripping Daisy comeback track or an old outtake?
THIS MADE MY DAY
A new polyphonic spree ? This is a really good news !!

anybody could come up with this. Me included.
By all means, do so then, Mr. Prick.
Ha, thanks Joseph. There is nothing worse than the anonymous, "i could do better than this, but instead i choose to comment anonymously about it on blogs" comment.
