Thanks to various sources for turning me on to this noisy/exuberant lo-fi schoolyard chant, taken from the debut full-length from Seattle's Naomi Punk. "N/A" is the closing track on the new record, and while it's not exactly representative of the rest of the work on the album (which is also very good), it's likely the most vibrant and infectiously uplifting thing you'll hear all day. Naomi Punk tells us:
"...it is a song performed by Rwandan children in a town/village in Rwanda, and was recorded by my mom (she grew up in Nigeria and works in Africa on and off), and was subjected to some gentle found-sound manipulation on my part..."
