wild nothing

Thanks to transparent for the introduction to the lush, Cocteau Twins/Shop Assistants-influenced rainy day dream-pop of VA's Jack Tatum, aka Wild Nothing. We can look forward to an official release soon on the undisputed label of the year, but in the meantime, be sure to check the handful of legit hits on his myspace page, as well as this perfectly wistful little gem:

That was pretty fantastic! I definitely dug the synth design but would have enjoyed it more had the vocals not been so drenched in so much reverb.

I agree with Anonymous :) It's hard to go wrong with a Kate classic.

dude, this is just a reverbed shitty singer with a keyboard covering kate bush. EASY PEASY.

sounds like recordings i made in highschool. did prompt me to put on kate bush though, which feels good.

Sorry guys. Entirely unnecessary cover that brings nothing new to the table. Unless you call the drowsy indie guy singer vocals "new."

Love the original btw. It's about Wilhelm Reich's son. Highly recommend his memoir "Book of Dreams." Best book I read last year.
