mp3 premiere: yeasayer | "ambling alp (memory tapes remix)"

Dayve Hawk -- the tireless and prolific force behind Memory Tapes -- mentioned recently that with the majority of his remixes, he doesn't even bother listening to the original song, and I'm guessing that may be the case here. By focusing on Yeasayer's simple yet empowering "stick up for yourself son" refrain/mantra, Hawk turns the group's ode to the great Joe Louis into a swirling, uplifting jam fit for the dancefloor.

Sorry Chris but the Ambling Alp was actually Primo Carnera, not Joe Louis.
