maybe there's a chance

Thanks to NPIP for delivering these two new jams from Christopher Curtis Smith, taken from Life Control, the impending follow-up to one of '09s best full-lengths, Night Control's Death Control (14 new songs, due "probably January 12" on Kill Shaman). Smith once again displays his uncanny knack for creating soulful, vaguely familiar pop songs that sound like faded otherworldly AM transmissions, or various '80s film soundtracks on cough syrup:
