mp3: Forest Swords mixtape

Our friends at Olde English Spelling Bee are set to release Dagger Paths, the debut full-length from Wirral, UK drone-step shaman Forest Swords, on March 1. As a preview, the label sent over this mesmerizing exclusive mixtape put together by Forest Swords, featuring deep, dank jams from Pariah, Ducktails, Burial, Madlib, Arch M, Jeru, King Tubby, and a few other surprises, plus some dubbed-out psychedelic new remixes and original material from Forest Swords himself. Download via mediafire below (includes full tracklist and cover art). Highly recommended:

amazing mix on first listen. The reworks are dope. Is this Dagger Paths record an EP or full length (album)? Bands myspace says EP.

it's only 6 songs, but the label tells me it's LP-length.

Just wondering...

is it reliable to buy on this website ? Just asking since it's look amateurish (not saying that in a bad way though :) ). Is there any artworks coming with the cd's for instance ?

Otherwise, have you listened to it (the Dagger Paths LP) ? or when you do get the chance, could you tell us your feeling ?

It seems pretty good ! :)
Thanks! and nice work on gorillavsbear !

yes, it's safe, OESB is a reputable label that has released some great stuff (ducktails and jules lynch, to name a couple). i haven't heard the whole LP yet, just the excerpts on the mix, and Miarches/Glory Gongs, which are both great.

amateur is the new pro. the OESB store works fine and all orders ship promptly.

this is a pre-order -- these records will ship beginning on March 1st -- there will be no delays on this as they have already been pressed and packaged.

also - it's NOT a cd. it will be a vinyl l.p. -- and it features carefully remastered versions of four songs that were previously available on cassette -- along with two brand new tracks.. & while it's being called an "e.p." it is 34 minutes long so it's certainly not a single..

AND all records will come with a download coupon so you will also receive high-quality mp3's of the music.
