Amazing track! Pretty much a cover of Jeremih - Birthday Sex, but they completely make it their own

Saw their show last Friday at Bottom Of the Hill, SF and it could be the worst show I've ever seen. Love the records but they really need to work on their live performance.

I quite agree with wandering. They absolutely terrible live. Just flat out horrible.

God damn, what happened to jj? No. 2 was so fucking good. Why do they insist on doing a bunch of slow ballads/acoustic songs? Bring back the electronics!

I saw jj live in Chicago a couple weeks ago and thought they were okay. The guy just stood there for most of the show occasionally (like once every minute) strumming an acoustic guitar. He eventually just left. They had a cool video screen though.

Okay yes, maybe she just pressed play and sang to the music - but I was definitely entertained by it.

I didn't care that it was her and a backing track. I could watch/listen to her sing for hours.

I saw the SF show and I thought it was great. Such a small space and her voice really outshining every other thing.

saw their show in sf as well, agreed joakim didnt do much but elin's voice more than made up for it. she sounds better live than recorded, so it was quite a treat.
i think their live shows are just an embodiment of their songs. (isnt that how all shows should be?) their songs are ethereal, out-of-this-world, carefree, drugged out trance-y. their shows are exactly like that. joakim was clearly inebriated in some way, just wandering the stage, they had a video playing that complimented the music, and elin's voice just topped everything off.
sure they don't give an epic, orchestrated, arduously rehearsed show complete with costumes, dancing, props...but it's a concert folks, you are there for the music. and i definitely got the music. keep it up jj i love you xoxo

Was also at the Bottom of the Hill show and also thought it was incredible, particularly in watching the effect the entire night had on everyone in the room. The sense of bewilderment was amazing and hearing her voice live makes going back to the recordings difficult.

definitely was too happy, the show amazing, and gone fast, that it felt like it never happened. i'd want to see them again and again. -story
