I can't say very impressed with this. Too much Blink 182
i was just about to say, sounds like avey tare meets blink 182, but yall beat me to half of it
fall out boy anyone?
haha, this is shitty. music for toddlers.
Williams said that he wrote this song to be more pop. That is why it sounds the way it does. I do not agree with it either. Thought the Zach Hill collaboration last summer was awesome. Why couldn't it be more like hoola hoop?
lmao this is awful.
What the hell happened? This is awful! And I love Wavves!
I don't think I'm going to get the new album now. Punk album that will define the year? bs
he's just trolling right?king of the beach.mp3 was alrightbut this is just new found glory all over. i don't want to relive hating my friends circa 2003 so soon waVvEs!
[generic backlash against the band I used to like but isn't cool anymore] comment[comparison to popular 90s-era tween-punk band] comment[unoriginal derivative of comment 2 hours before mine] comment[this is why gvsb sucks now, this is why we can't have nice things]
i could have sworn this was a blink 182 song
[SEE WHAT I MEAN]
I think it's good. I like the "bridge". It rules and girls love it.
why is everything that is enjoyable to listen to considered music for toddlers?you hipsters are a bunch of fucking assholes.
I've heard punk-er songs on Sesame Street.
More people anonymously hating on free music. Anything posted about Wavves get's 20+ comments, while the other stuff is untouched. And what are most of the comments about? "Wavves is gay."But I'd have to agree, this song is a bit Blink 182. But I listened to a lot of Blink 182 when I was a kid so I don't really mind.King of the Beach is going to be sick though. I've already heard half of the tracks and they were awesome. You can actually understand what's going on now.
ya'll niggaz is some haters
this song is really catchy, definitely a turn for the better
This song is Good. jeez guys, why hate over the net? what's the point..
Ah, I don't think I like this new direction he's going in but good for him if it gets him farther than before.I liked the lo-fi, 'shitty' production value; it's what got me into his music. This is like a completely different band. Meh.
This is bad. Like post-2000 Weezer bad.
why does everyone who likes something direct venom towards the people who don't? every opinion is valid, share yours (or don't) and move on. and why is the 'h' word relevant? now everyone who doesn't rely solely on the radio and MTV to bring them new music is a hipster?btw this is some terrible music
does no one care that this is coming out on a record label owned by mountain dew? I don't know if nathan williams considers himself a punk or if it's just being talked up by his silly label (bellaunion), but that is the least punk thing I've ever seen.
Who cares about the label? The important thing is that this song blows and sounds like a Blink 182 b-side.
who wouldn't want free mountain dew in exchange for a catchy pop-punk song?
I would love to hear a catchy pop-punk song...too bad I'm not hearing one.
i LOL'd @ this song. wtf is this!?!?
too poppy. LAME
