mp3: new Bodies of Water
Bodies of Water are currently working on their highly-anticipated new full-length in their hometown of Los Angeles, and frontwoman/Music Go Music mastermind Meredith Metcalf sent us a few tracks to preview. She says:
"...instead of waiting till the whole record is done, we thought it'd be fun to record little groups of 3 or 4 songs at a time so people can listen as we finished them..."All three tracks certainly bode very well for the new record, but the beautiful and expansive "Rise Up, Careful" is the standout, bolstered by Meredith's moving vocals and the addition of Brian Walsh on smooth sax:

triplets so good, my fave, but the way rise up builds at the end.. and then david crooning on ever with us shit nice.. but yeah that spanish beat in triplets,, just won't let you down.. the anticipa pa pa pation! fucking god...
