We leave you for the weekend with this perfect pop gem from Denver husband + wife duo Tennis, written on the band's recent adventures on the high seas. The impossibly infectious "Marathon" chronicles some of the uncertain moments they encountered on their journey, and is one of the sweetest and most instantly endearing songs I've heard in a long time. Look for this one on an upcoming 7" release on Underwater Peoples, and in the meantime, grab the band's debut 7" single, out in July on Woodsman's label, Firetalk. Limited to 300 copies, which won't last long.

saw an underwhelming video of these guys playing "bimini bay" on chocolate bobka and didn't know what to think. this song is much better, great summer jam.
